What about the men?

Happy Spring! This equinox was potent! That’s because it’s sandwiched between a lunar eclipse and the partial solar eclipse this Saturday, March 29th. This energy is setting us up for the next 6 months until the equinox in September.

Well, it definitely set up Russ and me for something new. With the guidance of a persistent, loving and skilled friend who came for a visit, and ended up coaching us for 3 intense days, we looked at how we keep ourselves and each other small. We came out the other side into a new level of partnership.

We went through the wringer, but it was worth it because it totally shifted the energy. I’m so clear that together Russ and I are going to release all kinds of magic on our Land.

It matters that Russ and I went through this together. What a lot of people don’t realize is this:

There cannot be a feminine rising without the masculine rising as well.

Patriarchy belittles the female principle in both women and men. But men especially are conditioned not to express feminine qualities like nurture, intuition, emotions, going with the flow. There you have it -  all the makings of the toxic, wounded masculine.

Not only that, this whole system inverts the natural order of things. Men aren’t meant to be on top, dominating women.

Men are the protectors, serving the women. Women are the creators, bringing Life from darkness (think of the Womb).

I love this analogy:

Men are the pillar candle - steady and supportive, while the women are the flame, shining their Light.

When the candle is upside down (as society is now, with men on top), the Light goes out.

When the candle is on its side, you get a big mess of wax. When we try to make women and men the same (instead of different, but equally important), society doesn’t function well.

I received a strong message over the Equinox. I must stop being accommodating and take up more space. It’s time to express ALL of me.

That includes my fierceness - because the Divine Feminine isn’t just soft & gentle. She protects what she loves by speaking truth from the heart.

And until I remember who I am, my partner won't remember who he is.

Men are the guardians for the return of the Divine Feminine.

And when women forget who we are, men forget who they’re here to protect.

It’s time, ladies! Let’s shine our light, remind the men what they’re here for, and together create a better world.
